Operations Manager – UK Wide – £Highly Competitive Package

Key Responsibilities

• Create plans to continuously strive to meet or exceed contractual arrangements using the resource within your control in the most effective manor, whilst ensuring that the site can deliver the business requirements at all times.
• Manage and organise the resources within your control efficiently and effectively, work as a lean operation, constantly seeking process improvements whilst minimizing costs through motiving your team do more even when under pressure.
• Work with other Operations Managers to modify, improve, refine standard operating procedures.
• Work in conjunction with the Commercial Managers to implement identified improvements to ways of working particularly ensuring customer deliverables are accurate leading to improved productivity.
• Exemplify good leadership and engage with your team by developing and continuously improving communication, team building and training
• Recruit and develop talented, friendly and positive people

Qualifications

• Must have Packaging Repro experience.
• Must be resident in the UK and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
• Constantly strives for continuous improvement in all aspects.
• Fast-thinker with excellent problem solving skills; able to find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing customer service, quality or core functionality.
