Part Time Purchasing Administrator
Office based, no hybrid. Location: Redditch.
£18,000-£19,000 per annum, based on 26.5 hours per week.
Overview
An established and growing organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support its busy Purchasing team.
Responsibilities
- Raise and track purchase orders for both office and operational requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor orders, update delivery schedules, and flag potential issues.
- Support the resolution of delivery and invoice queries with Warehouse and Accounts teams.
- Track stock trends and assist with reporting on shortages, spend, and supplier performance.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly supplier KPI reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good knowledge of SAP (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of Excel, especially pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Understanding of purchasing functions – experience in a purchasing or similar role desirable.
- Knowledge of quality processes and procedures (desirable).
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Salary
£18,000-£19,000 per annum, depending on experience.
