Quality Inspector (Late)

The company is a manufacturer based in Alcester, producing high‑precision fabricated and machined metal components for the aerospace, defence and power generation industries.

We are recruiting a Quality Inspector for our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations using 3D optical scanners
• Perform 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques
• Populate the inspection database with all relevant dimensions
• Sentencing of all parts inspected on optical (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM
• Support the internal non‑conformance process – raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured
• Liaise closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth transition of new products
• Complete FAIR packs

Required Skills & Experience

• Familiar with quality control procedures and standards; have held a quality control role in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
• CAD knowledge
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong team player
• Experience in the aerospace industry would be an advantage

Shift Details

The role is a late shift: Monday to Wednesday 4:30 pm – 2:30 am, Thursday 4:30 pm – 1:30 am.
