Summary of Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will build, manage, and develop a network of introducers, brokers, and bank relationships to drive consistent delivery of new business revenue. You will represent our organisation with professionalism and integrity, ensuring the achievement of new business targets while fostering strong relationships across the market.
What you will do
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Achieve and exceed new business revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with brokers, introducers, and bank partners.
- Manage and convert new business leads provided by Market Management, while generating your own leads through self‑prospecting and maintaining a local CRM database.
- Provide constructive feedback on the quality and effectiveness of leads generated by Market Management.
- Collaborate closely with other core functions to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
- Deliver accurate and timely management information and reports.
What we are looking for
- Proven track record in new business, business‑to‑business field sales.
- Exceptional business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Professional demeanor and corporate appearance.
- Ability to read and perform basic financial analysis from a set of accounts.
- Experience in consultative selling, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a financial sales or servicing environment is highly desirable.
- Self‑starter with the drive and motivation to sell and build a portfolio of customers.
- Good working knowledge of the credit‑insurance or credit‑information market, including its products and services.
- Assertive and competitive mindset, with the ability to ask insightful questions to fully understand prospects’ requirements.
