Team Leader – Oldham

Location: Oldham | Rate: £13.94 per hour | Status: Permanent, Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week (rota‑based). Please note: We are unable to consider Skilled Worker or Student Visa applicants for this role.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Team Leader to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs across our Oldham services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Support Worker Team
  • Deliver person‑centred support in line with individual plans
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
  • Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing
  • Support activities, appointments and community access
  • Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
  • Work a rota, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep‑ins

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team and supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs
  • Knowledge of mental health & learning disabilities environment
  • Health & Social Care Level 3 Adults (preferred)
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
  • Drivers licence – essential
  • Enhanced DBS (paid for by CareTech)
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work alone and collaboratively with a team
