Role: Programme Manager (consulting background) – Contract role
Consulting Seniority: Manager
Day rate: £400-£600 inside IR35
Project duration: 3-4 months with potential extension, starting in mid-June
Location: 2-3 days on site in North London, the rest worked remotely
We’re supporting a consultancy that specialises in business and digital transformation, known for fostering strong relationships while designing and delivering large-scale, complex transformations worldwide.
The end-client is in Consumer Goods. They require a Programme Manager with 8-10 years’ experience of project management and delivery with strong stakeholder manager and communications skills. The role demands strong delivery focus in a high‑pressure environment.
Tasks
- Manage programme delivery across key workstreams, ensuring timelines, risks, and dependencies are effectively controlled
- Coordinate stakeholders and delivery teams to keep activity aligned with programme objectives and business priorities
- Provide clear governance, reporting, and leadership to drive successful outcomes across the programme.
Requirements
- An independent consultant
- Consultancy background is preferred
- Strong project management experience on large-scale transformation programmes
- Confident senior stakeholder engagement with resilience under pressure
