An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Principal to join its senior leadership team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced middle or senior leader looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and inclusive school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and student achievement across the school.
The Role
- Support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
- Lead on key whole-school priorities such as behaviour, teaching and learning, pastoral care, attendance, or curriculum development
- Drive high standards of academic achievement and student outcomes
- Support and develop teaching staff through coaching and professional development
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture
- Work collaboratively with SLT, staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- UK QTS and substantial secondary teaching experience
- Proven leadership experience within a secondary school setting
- A strong track record of improving outcomes and raising standards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to inspire staff and students alike
- A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
