Operations Manager – Tandridge Leisure Centre
The Operations Manager will take the lead on health & safety, facility management, cleaning and quality management of the entire centre, while also managing the poolside operation and its staff.
The post holder will be part of the Centre Management team, contribute to the overall direction of the centre, and participate in the shift rota, covering Duty Manager shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings.
Applicants should already be working at Assistant Manager level or higher within a medium to large operation. They must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, build, lead and motivate staff, and have a passion for leisure and cultural services. Delivering on tight deadlines under pressure is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading health & safety initiatives.
- Overseeing facility management, cleaning and quality standards.
- Managing poolside operations and staff.
- Collaborating with the Centre Management team on strategic direction.
- Shifting duty coverage as part of the rota.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
