Calibration / Quality Assurance Technician Location: Aston Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:00 | Friday 08:00 – 12:30 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Join a Leading UKAS Approved Calibration Laboratory Our client is a privately owned company specialising in instrument calibration and inspection services. As a UKAS approved laboratory, the business is committed to delivering the highest standards of accuracy, compliance and customer service across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Calibration / Quality Assurance Technician to join our skilled and professional team. The Role You will be responsible for the calibration, inspection and verification of a wide range of precision measuring equipment and gauges, ensuring all instrumentation meets strict quality and compliance standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong engineering, metrology or quality background who enjoys working within a precision-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Carrying out calibration and inspection of precision measuring equipment Recording accurate calibration results and maintaining documentation Ensuring all gauges and instrumentation comply with UKAS and quality standards Identifying out-of-tolerance equipment and reporting findings Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities Working to tight tolerances and engineering specifications Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Experience Required Candidates should have experience using and calibrating a range of measuring equipment including: Feeler Gauges Gap Gauges Height Gauges Micrometers Ring Gauges Screw Caliper Gauges Vernier Calipers Ideal Candidate Previous experience within calibration, metrology, quality inspection or quality assurance Strong understanding of precision measuring equipment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and communication skills Experience within automotive, aerospace, manufacturing or engineering environments would be advantageous What We Offer Stable long-term opportunity with a growing business Ongoing training and development Modern working environment Opportunity to work within a UKAS accredited laboratory If you are an experienced Calibration or Quality Technician professional looking for your next opportunity, we would like to hear from you.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
