What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you’ll be embedded in a backend engineering team responsible for a high-throughput payment platform. Your day-to-day will include:
- Designing and delivering backend services across the payment platform
- Contributing to architectural decisions and system design discussions
- Building scalable, secure, and highly available distributed systems
- Improving development processes and raising engineering standards
- Supporting deployments across test and production environments
- Mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering stakeholders

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Strong, demonstrable experience with C# and .NET backend development
- Proven ability to design and build scalable, production-grade web services
- Solid SQL and relational database experience
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- A firm grasp of software design principles and clean code practices
- Comfortable working within Agile delivery environments
Desirable
- Experience in payments, fintech, or other high-throughput transaction processing domains
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment tooling
- Prior experience formally mentoring or supporting junior engineers
