About the Company:
HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with one of our long-standing clients as they continue through an exciting period of growth. Our client is a leading business based in Belfast City Centre, offering a high-impact opportunity within a well-established finance function.
This role would suit an ambitious finance professional stepping into their first Head of Finance/Financial Controller position, or equally an experienced individual used to operating at this level, who is seeking greater ownership and influence within a more agile environment.
About the Job:
- Lead and develop a small finance team, with full ownership of the function
- Oversee daily finance operations
- Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reporting
- Liaise with auditors, funders, and tax advisors, ensuring compliance
- Provide financial analysis to support growth and cost-saving initiatives
- Improve finance systems, controls, and group-wide processes
About you:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Proven financial leadership experience with strong reporting expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while managing complex stakeholder relationships.
