VANRATH are partnering with a highly regarded specialist construction solutions provider to recruit a Technical Sales Representative for their growing Service & Maintenance Division across Northern Ireland.

The business delivers a broad range of integrated solutions including access systems, automatic doors, glazing, specialist products and maintenance services across commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality and residential projects throughout the UK & Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional to join an established organisation with a strong reputation and a growing service division.

The Role

Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new service and maintenance opportunities across Northern Ireland.

This role will focus on growing recurring service revenue and promoting maintenance agreements, upgrades, repairs and technical solutions to both new and existing clients. You will work closely with facilities teams, contractors and commercial stakeholders to deliver tailored service solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities for service contracts, maintenance agreements and system upgrades
  • Manage quotations, proposals and CRM updates throughout the sales process
  • Promote maintenance packages and technical solutions across a broad customer base
  • Work closely with customers to understand operational requirements and provide tailored recommendations
  • Follow up on quotations, enquiries and ongoing commercial opportunities
  • Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and sales reporting to management
  • Collaborate with internal operational and service teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Support the continued growth of the Service & Maintenance Division across Northern Ireland

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous sales, business development or account management experience within a technical or service-led environment
  • Experience within Automatic Doors, Access Control, Fire & Security, Traffic Barriers/Automatic Gates, Lift/Elevator systems, or a similar technical industry would be highly advantageous
  • Strong ability to build relationships with facilities managers, contractors and commercial stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with a customer-focused approach
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a varied sales pipeline independently
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Full clean UK driving licence
