Senior Resident Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a national road infrastructure project commencing in Summer 2026, with an expected duration of approximately 14 months. The role requires strong site leadership experience within roads or transport infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
- Site supervision and inspection of construction activities.
- Contract administration and reporting.
- Liaison with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
- Monitoring project progress and maintaining records.
- Working closely with site team members, including engineering and inspection staff.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status desirable.
- Experience with public works contracts (valuations, claims).
- Strong experience in road construction supervision (pavements, drainage, structures, etc.).
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Full driving licence and relevant site certifications required.
Working Conditions
