You’ll join Jacobs’ 1,000-strong Programme & Advisory team in Europe, collaborating with specialists across the globe and across disciplines.
Our Economics and Outcomes capability delivers leading-edge economic analysis, commercial insight, and business case development for clients across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
Your role will be pivotal in creating integrated environments that support smarter, data‑driven decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and/or support high‑impact projects across infrastructure development in energy, transport, water, environment, and smart cities.
- Advise public and private sector clients on strategy, investment, transformation, evaluation and learning.
- Work seamlessly across technical and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Shape the future of infrastructure, with a strong focus on sustainable development and “no regrets decision‑making” for our clients in the public and private sectors.
- Build your profile through leadership, mentoring, thought leadership, and global collaboration.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualifications in economics, public policy, finance, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in economic consulting or advisory environments.
- A strong strategic mindset, with experience in market assessment, business cases, and impact evaluation.
- Commercial acumen, including consultancy sales, project delivery, and client engagement.
- Technical capability in spreadsheet modelling, and experience with GIS, data analytics, or big data tools.
- Sector expertise in infrastructure, energy transition, transport, water, places or sustainable development.
- Clear, compelling communication skills — able to influence stakeholders and shape powerful narratives.
