Location: Manchester
Job Description:

THE ROLE

You know better than most what’s now sitting behind tribunal outcomes in terms of revenue exposure. The volume and financial risk across a portfolio of our scale makes this, in our view, a fundamental hire; not a nice-to-have but a core part of how we protect and perform.

This role sits at the administrative centre of our response to claims brought under the Renters’ Rights Act. Working alongside our paralegal, who owns legal strategy, this role owns the evidence files, the claims register, the governance and the reporting that determines whether we’re ready when it matters. It’s not a legal role. It’s the role that makes sure the detail is right and nothing is missed.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Building and maintaining evidence files for all active claims; maintenance records, rent histories, notice trails and correspondence packages
  • Managing a live claims register across the full caseload; tracking deadlines, status and financial exposure in real time
  • Monitoring statutory and procedural deadlines without exception; nothing slips
  • Producing regular management reports on claim volumes, outcomes and financial impact
  • Post-claim impact assessments, feeding operational lessons back into the business

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

A rare combination of commercial weight and operational precision. You’ll be working on matters that have a direct bearing on revenue, within a collaborative team that takes this function seriously. The governance frameworks you build here will shape how the business manages claims as it scales.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A background in residential property administration, housing compliance, lettings or a similar environment with exposure to legal or quasi-legal processes
  • Familiarity with the documentation behind residential tenancies; rent notices, maintenance records, tenancy agreements and correspondence trails
  • Someone meticulous by nature, for whom deadlines don’t slip and files hold up under scrutiny
  • Commercially aware and able to work at pace without losing grip on the detail
  • Prior exposure to tribunal or dispute resolution processes is an advantage but not essential
