The Role of the Associate Director Cost Birmingham
Reporting directly to the Birmingham Partner and the UK Board, you will play a pivotal role in the office’s success and be a high‑level strategic manager with influence over the company’s direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Growth: Mentor and develop a team of Cost Consultancy professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Client Strategy: Lead business development initiatives and maintain high‑level client liaison within the West Midlands region.
- Project Delivery: Provide expert cost management oversight on a variety of major projects, ensuring technical and commercial success.
- Senior Reporting: Collaborate with the Regional Partner and UK Board on office performance and strategic planning.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking an ambitious professional with a proven track record in the consultancy sector.
- MRICS Chartered status is preferred.
- A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a construction‑related equivalent.
- Proven experience within a Cost Consultancy or Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy in the United Kingdom.
- A strong background in one or more of the following sectors: Industrial, Commercial, Mixed‑Use, Residential, Leisure, Retail, or Education.
- Full, clean UK driving licence for regional client site visits.
- Valid right to live and work in the United Kingdom; sponsorship is not available for this role.
