Senior Manager – Asset Servicing

Deloitte seeks a Senior Manager to lead back‑office transformation initiatives and drive the growth of our Asset Servicing practice. The role requires deep expertise in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, Custody Services and a proven record of delivering large‑scale client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand our expertise in back‑office asset servicing, driving thought leadership and market presence.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of complex client engagements and large‑scale programmes, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and strategic outcomes within back‑office transformation projects.
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering the growth and development of our junior and mid‑level practitioners.
  • Drive the development and growth of the Investment Management practice, actively contributing to the asset servicing back‑office proposition, market offerings, and intellectual capital.
  • Cultivate and strengthen senior‑level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Contribute significantly to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations, to secure new engagements.

Qualifications

  • Extensive industry experience working in the Investment Management Asset Servicing market with deep expertise in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration and/or Custody Services.
  • Big 4 Consulting or equivalent background, with demonstrable experience at a Senior Manager level or above.
  • Significant experience leading and driving large‑scale transformational change programmes within back‑office functions of asset servicers, demonstrating strategic impact and measurable results.
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop high‑performing teams and individuals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • A strong track record of designing, delivering, and leading complex projects and programmes, with a proven ability to structure, develop, and deliver innovative and sustainable transformation solutions for back‑office operations.
  • Exceptional ability to mobilise and motivate large, diverse teams, establishing strategic plans, project objectives, and ensuring successful execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Deep understanding of operating model concepts, design, and analysis, particularly as applied to complex back‑office processes, technology integration, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and growing senior‑level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Expertise in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, navigating complex organisational dynamics, and resolving high‑impact issues across client and internal teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex strategic and technical concepts to executive‑level audiences and facilitating consensus.
  • Demonstrated ability to significantly contribute to practice development, including proposition design, thought leadership, market eminence, and intellectual capital development.
  • Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A comprehensive understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, with a proven ability to foster an inclusive culture within teams and client engagements.
  • Advanced understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks relevant to asset servicing back‑office operations.
