Job Description:

We’re looking for a Lead Game Developer to join our brilliant Game Studio team here at tombola.

This role is a leadership position within a fully in-house development studio. You will lead a small squad of developers, manage stakeholders, deliver high-quality games, and mentor team members while remaining hands‑on with code.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead a small squad of developers, managing the development process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to help them grow their skills.
  • Drive feature development and keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate with designers, product and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality games.
  • Handle people‑management duties such as holiday and absence scheduling.

  • An established Senior Developer with leadership experience.
  • Ability to deliver effective and engaging 1‑to‑1s to the squad.
  • Responsibility for managing holidays and absences for the squad.
