Funding Data Officer
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Funding Data Officer to join our Management Information Systems (MIS) team at Sandwell College. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of student data that underpins funding and performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing learner enrolments and data amendments accurately and within required deadlines
- Setting up and managing electronic timetables and registers across designated areas
- Carrying out regular data validation checks to ensure audit compliance
- Monitoring register completion and following up with curriculum staff where required
- Acting as a key point of contact for data queries relating to enrolment, registration, and achievement
- Liaising with curriculum and exams teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of achievements
- Maintaining secure and accurate student records in line with GDPR and college procedures
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade A*–C / 4–9) or equivalent
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
- Experience of working in an education or training environment
- Experience using a student records system or large databases
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident use of Microsoft Excel
