Family Practitioner Service – Staffordshire Moorlands
We are offering a permanent part‑time position as a Family Practitioner. The role involves working closely with children and families, collaborating with social workers, and supporting children in need.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead early help assessments and plans
- Collaborate with social workers to support children in need
- Contribute to parenting assessments
- Support mediation, crisis prevention, conflict resolution and life‑story work
- Complete accurate documentation, reports and records relating to work with children, young people and their families
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 related to working with children and families or relevant experience
- Experience supporting children and families in homes, delivering direct work and engaging children, families and carers creatively
- Flexible working hours – available for evenings and weekends as required
- Current UK driving licence and vehicle
- Desire to work with children and families to provide timely support and help keep families together where safe
