Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 plus benefits
Overview
We are recruiting for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join a well‑respected environmental consultancy in Bristol. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced flood risk professional who wants to take ownership of technical delivery while continuing to develop within a supportive, high quality consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
- Deliver SuDS design and drainage modelling using InfoDrainage or similar tools
- Support feasibility studies, masterplanning and planning submissions
- Engage with clients, regulators and internal project teams
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Produce clear, concise and high quality technical reports
About You
- At least four years UK experience in flood risk and drainage planning
- Strong user of InfoDrainage with solid SuDS design experience
- Confident with planning policy, drainage standards and the NPPF
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS
- Strong communication, leadership and report writing skills
- Organised, motivated and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
