Position: Contracts Manager

My client is seeking a Contracts Manager to cover a portfolio of schemes predominantly based across Essex and Hertfordshire areas. The role will encompass managing a portfolio of projects (3–4 at one time) site-based with other days based from office/home. The organisation is a main building contractor who has a reputation in delivering high quality schemes ranging from £10M to £100M in value.

Responsibilities

• All projects delivered to all safety, cost and programme/quality targets. Snag free, on time, RIDDOR free with a delighted client.
• Supported by site teams including project managers, site managers & engineers.
• Education/Commercial/Mixed‑use build background.
• Previous experience in a similar role (managing multiple projects).
• Proactive approach & forward thinker.
• SMSTS minimum.
• CSC card.
