Senior Business Development Manager – Fire Suppression

We are currently supporting a well-established and growing organisation within the fire suppression sector in the appointment of a Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across the UK.
This is a key commercial role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of major client relationships, develop new business, and shape the wider sales strategy within a highly respected business.
The Role:
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing key accounts, including OEMs and Facilities Management providers
- Driving new business opportunities across service, maintenance, and system solutions
- Owning the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close
- Building long‑term, value‑driven relationships with key stakeholders
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned to growth targets
- Monitoring market trends and contributing to commercial strategy and positioning
About You:
We are keen to speak with individuals who have:
- A proven track record within the fire / fire suppression industry
- Strong experience selling into Facilities Management (FM) providers
- Demonstrated success in account management and business development
- A commercial mindset with the ability to negotiate and close high-value contracts
- The confidence to engage at senior stakeholder level
- A proactive, relationship-led approach to business development
