Based in Bristol or Basingstoke office; site based covering Newbury, Royal Wootton Basset, Chippenham and surrounding areas. Typically working 37.5 hours, 8.30am – 5.00pm.
Role Overview
Our Contract Liaison Officers sit at the core and heart of everything we do, ensuring that our teams are working effectively and that customers are happy. Working in a tenanted social housing environment, you will deliver an exciting new retrofit scheme including solar panels, insulation, ventilation, window and door replacements.

Responsibilities
- Support site or contract by acting as liaison between customers, clients and the wider community
- Deliver and manage social value and excellent customer service, going the extra mile when required
- Lead on delivering all added‑value contractual commitments, including planning and scheduling community, skills and employment initiatives in line with the Social Value Act
- Handle enquiries and issues relating to works delivered by site teams and sub‑contractors, serving as the voice and face at contract and site level
- Establish an effective communication system to keep the site team informed while maintaining good relationships with customers and the Novus team
- Coordinate distribution of information regarding upcoming works and maintain records of current works and contractual commitments
- Carry out site visits with clients and customers
- Deal with complaints and resolve concerns positively
- Generate technical instructions, site notes and other site observations
- Identify case studies demonstrating excellent customer service and social value impact for use in tendering new contracts
- Manage any required reporting for the contracts
- Promote good news stories and initiatives with marketing, ensuring we capture the good work we do
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in a customer‑facing role, ideally in a tenanted social housing environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in IT and a willingness to develop the role
- Understanding of retrofit compliance documentation is desirable
- Attention to detail and a flexible approach to hours and travel
- Full UK driving licence; DBS check will be completed
