Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will have a broad remit of responsibilities, which may flex depending on the expectation of the specific role you are fulfilling for your client. You’ll lead multi‑capability and often multi‑geography teams, to deliver business critical outcomes with and for our clients. You’ll apply your delivery know‑how experience and understanding of the media industry (with wider TMT experience) to support clients with their complex challenges, and will be responsible for the likes of:
- Leading delivery of successful technology implementations within the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector, adding value to our client’s end users, by managing multi‑skilled teams from within client teams and broader Deloitte.
- Applying an understanding of how changes in the market will impact on our TMT/Media clients and the challenges they face and reflecting on this in improving our own internal capabilities.
- Managing technical, engineering and test teams – facilitating daily standups and tracking delivery using varying methods and tools.
- Working closely with key internal and senior client stakeholders and effectively demonstrating interpersonal skills.
- Leading business development work for our key propositions through pre‑sales, bid preparations and client presentations. Showcasing our knowledge and experience whilst building relationships with potential clients.
- Participate fully within Deloitte to assist growth of the TMT/Media and Technology Programme Delivery team, develop and guide junior grade colleagues, and support the firm’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Working as a Senior Manager, focusing on system integration style project delivery with experience of successfully managing large teams, leading large‑scale technology implementations within the TMT (ideally Media) sector, with a record of high performance and success in your role delivering change and transformation for the client. Working with engineering and test teams to help translate and communicate technical designs during implementations to help deliver solutions to end users. Experience of guiding and coaching junior talent through challenging situations and providing honest and constructive development points. Excelling at building relationships and collaborating with internal and client stakeholders to understand and articulate challenges to implement overall vision. Strong and specialised experience and understanding of TMT products, processes, and technologies in areas such as:
- Media industry, covering areas like content platforms, ad tech, and rights management platforms
- Digital platforms and technologies
- Appreciation of emerging technology and trends in TMT with an understanding and knowledge of different players in the industry
Strong proficiency in key day‑to‑day applications such as Microsoft Office, Jira and Confluence. Preferably you also have:
- Experience leading (consulting) bids, e.g. responding to RFI/RFP, and developing industry relationships.
- Industry certifications or related area
