Senior Quantity Surveyor: Cost Control & Commercial Lead

5.5 days work week

Location: Changi Airport

• Manage and lead a team of QS staff for project execution / post-contract commercial management.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cost movements throughout project execution.
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimisation during construction to improve commercial outcomes.
• Support project teams to ensure timely and properly substantiated upstream claims to clients, including variation orders and other contractual entitlements, in order to maximise the Company’s interests.
• Report major contractual and commercial status/issues arising from discussions with project sites to management.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment responses/certification for subcontractors’ monthly claims in accordance with contractual requirements and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction or its equivalent
• 10 years of relevant experiences in General Construction/Civil Construction or its related field
• Involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
