Overview

Deloitte’s AI & Data Financial Services team in the Banking sector seeks a Senior Manager to drive innovation and insight from data and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex data transformation, implementation, advisory, and remediation projects, adding value to clients’ end users.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Apply an understanding of how market changes impact clients and reflect this internally.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored data & AI solutions.
  • Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Deloitte’s data practice.
  • Support business development through pre‑sales, bid preparations, and client presentations.
  • Assist the growth of the Banking team, guide junior colleagues, and support a diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Ability to take initiative, operate independently, and drive change.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in business analysis, implementation, delivery, or consulting in the Financial Services industry, with a focus on data or AI.
  • Leadership of large teams and delivery of large‑scale data programmes within Banking.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and business writing skills; ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and solution shaping, translating technical requirements into business outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/SaFe…) and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Planview).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data tools (Databricks, Power BI, Python, Snowflake, Hadoop, SQL).
  • Ability to operate independently with a bias for action and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Experience guiding and coaching junior talent.
  • Experience contributing to consulting bids and developing industry relationships (preferred).

Based in London with hybrid working.
