Location: London
Job Description:

Overview

AtkinsRéalis has a strong track record of delivering major infrastructure programmes across the region and has recently secured flagship industry opportunities, including Heathrow Expansion, alongside an established and diverse portfolio. We are seeking experienced programme professionals to join our PMO teams and help ensure programmes are planned, integrated, and delivered efficiently.

Programme Integrator – Role Overview

The Programme Integrator provides strategic leadership across complex, high‑value infrastructure programmes, bringing clarity to schedules, interfaces, and critical programme drivers. Focus for this role is on interrogating integrated P6 programmes, understanding how schedules align to programme objectives, and translating insight into clear, actionable advice for senior leadership. Operating within the PMO, the role acts as a bridge between delivery teams, programme controls, supply chain partners, and executive stakeholders, ensuring controls data and programme information are coherent, integrated, and decision‑ready. The role is portfolio‑based and may support multiple major programmes over time.

Your role

  • Interrogate integrated Primavera P6 schedules to identify critical path, key dependencies, trends, and emerging risks.
  • Ensure schedules are aligned with programme objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Interpret complex programme and controls data and translate it into clear narrative, insight, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership across integrated controls, with a good understanding of schedule, cost, risk, change, and overall controls systems.
  • Lead, challenge, and coordinate programme controls and planning teams to ensure robust schedules, analysis, and visualisations.
  • Interface with programme partners and supply chain organisations to gather, validate, and challenge schedule‑related information.
  • Manage and clarify interfaces across multiple workstreams and delivery partners, particularly in early‑stage and design‑led programmes.
  • Monitor programme performance and highlight issues, trends, and risks that may impact time, cost, or scope.
  • Ensure programme information supports effective executive‑ and portfolio‑level decision‑making.
  • Communicate complex programme issues clearly and confidently with clients and internal leadership teams.

About You

  • Experience working on large, complex infrastructure programmes within multi‑disciplinary and multi‑partner environments.
  • Strong understanding of programme controls principles, with a good working knowledge across integrated controls systems.
  • Primavera P6 literacy essential, with the ability to interrogate, challenge, and assure schedules rather than produce them.
  • Proven ability to synthesise complex data into clear, strategic insight.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience advising senior and executive‑level stakeholders.
  • Infrastructure project experience is essential. Aviation experience ideal; transport, water, or energy sector experience also suitable.
  • London‑based role, with the ability to travel to client sites a minimum of three days per week, typically just outside London.
  • Flexibility to work across a portfolio of major programmes as priorities evolve.

Location

London‑based role; travel to client site in the South East of England required.
