Living Well Officer – 10243 (fixed term contract, 18 months, secondment opportunity)

Paid: £26,824 to £28,142 per annum pro rata; 18.5 hours per week; Grade E; base location: County Hall, Norwich or Dereham Hospital.

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and hardworking Living Well Officer to join the Business Support team in Adults Social Services. The role is customer focused, delivering a full range of administrative and support services directly to the Operational Teams and the service users they support. This role requires excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, liaising with stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Perform daily tasks such as sourcing grants or community activities, booking respite, minuting meetings, supporting protection of property requirements under the Care Act, paying invoices, answering phones, and organising food parcels.
  • Maintain a list of local resources to support practitioners’ requests.
  • Make visits to support the operational team; require a car and driving licence.
  • Manage competing priorities and embed the Living Well model to support people to be independent, resilient, and well in the community.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in administrative support or community service roles is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Positive, ‘can do’ approach and committed team player.
