About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer with expertise in Java, Quarkus, and AWS to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a modern, AI-enabled analytics platform used by enterprise clients globally. As a senior member of the backend development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices that underpin our platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Front-End Development, Analytics, DevOps, and Data Science to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in backend development with Java.
- Proficiency in Quarkus framework and cloud-native development practices.
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java and Quarkus within a cloud-native environment.
- Create resilient microservices and APIs that support the platform’s high concurrency and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications, architecture, and implementation strategies.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability of the platform.
