Our client is a well-established engineering solutions provider operating within industrial process, extraction and ventilation environments. As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Project Engineer / Manager to act as the key link between sales, engineering, site delivery and the customer, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
This is a varied role combining project management, technical coordination and customer-facing responsibility. You will take ownership of projects from sales handover through to installation, commissioning and final documentation, working closely with internal engineers, subcontractors and client stakeholders across the UK.

Manage engineering projects from sales handover through to customer deliveryAct as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycleSupport sales colleagues with technical input into proposals and solutionsCoordinate with design, site and installation engineers to ensure smooth deliveryLead project kick-off meetings and attend regular internal project reviewsSpecify equipment, place purchase orders and manage supplier and subcontractor progressOrganise installations, prepare site documentation and oversee H&S and RAMSSupport commissioning activities and compile O&M documentationMonitor project costs and liaise with finance on invoicing and commercial matters
Person Specification
Essential:
Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar technical project roleStrong customer-facing skills with the ability to build long-term relationshipsBackground in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering environmentsExperience working on industrial or manufacturing customer sitesHNC (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical EngineeringStrong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel across the UK as required
Desirable:
Experience delivering engineered systems or turnkey projectsExposure to industrial process, extraction, ventilation or capital equipment projectsUnderstanding of site installation, commissioning and contractor managementWillingness to undertake occasional overseas travel for training
