Application requires a full UK Manual Driving Licence. The role involves frequent weekends, evenings, and includes paid weekend shifts at +50% rate.
Responsibilities
- Supervise groups of offenders on community payback placements, ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively.
- Transport offenders and equipment using service vehicles (driver licence required).
- Plan, conduct and monitor a range of manual tasks such as clearing overgrowth, restoring community facilities, planting trees, laying flowerbeds, litter picking and graffiti removal.
- Maintain safety, wellbeing, and professional standards throughout the workday.
- Provide guidance and support to offenders, demonstrating good practice.
Qualifications & Skills
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Good communication, empathy, and leadership skills.
- Experience supervising or managing teams is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional evenings.
