Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net) *Newcastle onsite* to £130k+

As a Senior Software Engineer you will collaborate with a small, talented team to deliver the core trading platform within a Microsoft environment using the latest versions of C# .Net to produce high-quality code. The company has ambitious growth plans, and this is a great opportunity to be involved from the ground up and progress your career.
Location
You’ll join colleagues in brand new Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday), working hours 0900-1800 with some flexibility. The offices are well equipped, offer fantastic views across the City and the local countryside, and include onsite showers. Many employees walk or cycle in. There is a diverse, social team atmosphere with many employees having recently relocated and lots of support available.
About You
- Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a world top‑ranked / Russell Group university, backed by A*s and A‑levels
- Technological aptitude, collaborative mindset and problem‑solving skills, especially in complex, distributed systems
- Expertise in modern C# .Net Core; Python skills would be beneficial
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, data structures, design patterns and algorithms
- Excitement to join a start‑up in a role that you can shape and influence
- Must be a UK citizen or hold the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
