Founding Engineer (AI PropTech) | Up to £140,000 + Equity | London
We are the exclusive talent partner on behalf of a seed start-up building AI agents for the real estate market. They are automating tasks that currently make up a $200bn labour market and giving agencies tools to fundamentally transform one of the lowest NPS industries.
Fresh off a successful seed funding round, they are building a Founding Engineering team of engineers who have worked with AI agents and will help build the product from 0-1.
You will build and scale both frontend and backend powering their AI agents – handling real-time calls, conversation routing, bookings, maintenance triage, and integrations with property management platforms. The role covers telephony/voice systems, LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines and event-driven architecture. It also involves core backend engineering: API integrations, data modeling, webhooks and production infrastructure to make the AI work reliably.
They are based in London and have an in‑office engineering team.
- Strong software engineering experience
- Experience designing and deploying API‑first, event‑driven architectures. Intuitive understanding of how to build systems that scale
- Experience building and shipping AI agents and LLM‑powered systems in production
- Strong RAG experience; hands‑on vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector or similar)
