Priest in Charge (initially for 5 years)
ISDG is a group of 5 churches with one Vestry in rural NE Scotland. We are looking to appoint a Priest in Charge who can build on the unity within the group while encouraging the diversity of the churches.
We Are Seeking To Appoint a Priest-in-Charge Who Is
- A person of deep personal faith.
- Able to lead us in inspiring liturgical and musical worship.
- A thoughtful and gifted teacher.
- A people person who can encourage people to use their gifts.
- Enthusiastic about helping the congregations engage with their ecumenical partners and their communities
- Has experience of leading a group of churches
Within the initial period of this appointment and subject to longer‑term financial viability the bishop may, with the consent of the Vestry, decide to license the Priest‑in‑Charge as Rector.
