Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer I Selby I | Hybrid I £50,000 (DOE)

My client is looking for a hands‑on Infrastructure Engineer where you’ll support and strengthen a modern Microsoft-based environment across Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, and security. You’ll balance day‑to‑day operational support with high‑impact project work, acting as a trusted escalation point and helping to continuously improve their infrastructure, automation, and security posture.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting and maintaining secure, stable Azure and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Monitoring systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft security tools.
• Supporting device management, authentication, and access controls across the business.
• Supporting cloud migrations, optimisation, and security hardening initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Solid understanding of identity and access management (Entra ID / Azure AD).
• Confidence troubleshooting complex infrastructure and cloud issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
• SQL experience
• VMware experience
