The Role

We’re seeking an experienced, adaptable & confident Data Analyst with advanced Power BI expertise to lead the design and delivery of custom dashboards for clients. You’ll work with data across marketing, sales, e-commerce, inventory, and operations – connecting sources such as BigQuery and Google Sheets, building scalable data models, and creating intuitive, insight-driven dashboards that support business decision‑making.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Client Requirements & Scoping: Work with clients and account managers to define goals, key metrics, and dashboard requirements.
  • Custom Power BI Development: Design, build, and maintain white‑labelled Power BI reports tailored to client needs, with intuitive UX for non‑technical users.
  • Diverse Data Integration: Extract and transform data from a range of client sources, including marketing platforms, SQL databases, and Excel files.
  • Data Modelling & DAX: Build scalable data models in Power BI and use advanced DAX to create KPIs, time‑based metrics, and cross‑functional reports.
  • External Sharing & Security: Manage Power BI workspaces, apps, and sharing, including Row‑Level Security to protect client data.
  • Client Presentation & Support: Present dashboards to clients, explain insights, answer questions, and refine reports based on feedback.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Troubleshoot data issues, monitor refreshes, and ensure the accuracy of client reporting.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Data & Insights Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar is essential.
  • Experience working in a Marketing Agency or Consultancy, or an internal role working with eCommerce data.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI Desktop and Service, including Power Query (M), complex DAX, data modelling, and workspace administration.
  • Confident communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and joining data from various relational databases.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
  • Great attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, pivot between different client requests, and make sense of unstructured client data.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and knowledge of Python or R would be desirable.
