Junior Python Backend Engineer

Job Overview

Information Tech Consultants Ltd (ITC) is an IT management and consulting firm based in Central London. We are looking for a Junior Python Developer to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for writing clean and efficient Python code, developing backend applications, debugging issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

Eligibility

UK based candidates only. Must be entitled to work in the UK with legal work authorization status. Must be willing to travel within the UK as per project/client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and maintain Python applications.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Work with databases and third‑party APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, IT related fields and 2‑4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Familiarity with SQL and databases.
• Understanding of OOP concepts.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good problem‑solving skills.
