Senior Network & Cloud Engineer: Azure, Security & IaC

City of London | Hybrid (3 days on-site) | Up to £90,000 per annum plus bonus

I’m currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation looking to hire a Senior Network & Cloud Engineer to play a key role in strengthening and evolving their infrastructure estate.

This position places a strong emphasis on enterprise networking and Azure cloud.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience across network and cloud engineering
• Proven expertise within Microsoft Azure
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS)
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls and network security
• Solid knowledge of Zero Trust / modern security frameworks
• Experience working in complex, mission‑critical environments
• Backgrounds outside financial services are welcome
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep (or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
