Are you passionate about driving innovation and best practices in Salesforce? We have an exciting opportunity for you – Senior Salesforce Developer!
TCS is a purpose‑led transformation company, built on belief. We do not just help businesses to transform through technology. We support them in making a meaningful difference to the people and communities they serve – our clients include some of the biggest brands in the UK and worldwide. For you, it means more to make an impact that matters, through challenging projects which demand ambitious innovation and thought leadership.
- Drive data integrity, governance, and responsible AI adoption
- Work with cutting‑edge digital and AI platforms
- Enable automation, intelligence, and smarter decision‑making at enterprise scale
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with strong functional consulting skills to play a key role in the delivery of enterprise‑scale CRM transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). This role combines deep technical expertise with business‑facing consulting capability, requiring an individual who can both design and build scalable Salesforce solutions and engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams. The successful candidate will have experience working with financial services or banking clients, ideally within a top‑tier consulting environment, and will be comfortable operating in complex, regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud
- Contribute to solution architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise data models, integration patterns, and security requirements
- Advise on best practices for FSC, including client data models, loan management, KYC processes, and regulatory considerations
- Design, develop and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware), and platform features across FSC, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
- Own end‑to‑end development lifecycle, including code quality, testing, and deployment
- Drive adherence to development standards, governance, and DevOps practices
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and shape solutions, not just implement them
- Lead or support workshops, discovery sessions, and design discussions
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and implementation plans
- Provide clear, business‑friendly communication of technical concepts and trade‑offs
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users, product owners, and senior stakeholders
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout delivery
- Support key governance forums, including steering committees and design authority sessions
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team capability building
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including BAs, architects, testers, and external partners
- Support planning activities such as estimation, sprint planning, and release management
- There may be 10‑15% of supervisory activities as the team grows
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Apex, LWC, Salesforce APIs, integrations, data modelling and platform configuration
- Experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Understanding of security, data governance, and compliance in Salesforce
- Experience delivering Salesforce solutions for financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance clients
- Familiarity with loan management, regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience in a consulting environment (Big 4, tier‑one consultancy, or SI partner)
- Strong track record of client‑facing delivery and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to operate in complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes
- Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I & II, Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional, Application/System Architect (or progressing towards)
- Experience with integration platforms (Azure), Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience with data migration and transformation projects
