Hybrid Cloud DevOps Engineer – AWS & Azure Platform

Overview

Cloud DevOps Engineers will work to grow their career and delight customers through a hybrid of project and foundational activities. Work collaboratively in technical Pods to deliver and maintain cloud services for UK clients. The role is part of a supportive team culture that thrives on technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud platforms with a focus on technical reuse, standardisation, and blueprints.




• Embrace modern ways of working and participate in agile sprints.




• Strengthen platform engineering capabilities through professional training, certifications, and real‑world experience.




• Collaborate and influence iterative Capgemini offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.




• Familiarity with scripting and monitoring tools such as YAML, PowerShell, JSON, or Python.




• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools: CloudFormation, ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.




• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including GitHub, Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Artifacts) and observability tools such as Splunk.




• Experience contributing to end‑to‑end delivery using ITIL frameworks.

Security Clearance

SC clearance is required. Successful candidates must have resided continuously in the United Kingdom for the last five years and meet additional eligibility criteria.
