Senior Agile Delivery Manager

Our ambition is to be the leading IT services group in the HE sector and we are growing our team’s capability in experience/UX, agile development, security, cloud, service management and partnering. We are modernising our technology foundations, digitising the processes of the university to transform experience for students and staff, and partnering across the university to drive differentiation in UCL education and research. Portfolio and Product Delivery manage the delivery of technology led change, partnering with colleagues across UCL. We collaborate as cross functional agile teams and have core capabilities in experience, development & test, analysis and agile delivery management,

As a Senior Agile Delivery Manager, within the “People, Money & Insight Portfolio”, you will provide servant leadership to one or more cross‑functional Agile teams. You will guide the teams towards fulfilling their product vision and roadmap, through facilitation, support, and coaching, while continuously helping improve their Agile maturity. You will ensure Agile ceremonies are effective, work closely with the Product Owner to maintain the Product Backlog and roadmap, pro‑actively manage risks, dependencies, and impediments, ensure quality is built in, to deliver customer value early and often. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the Product Owner, your team(s), Portfolio leadership, ISD colleagues, and key stakeholders across the university to build excellent collaborative relationships.

Experience & Qualifications

As an experience Agile Coach, you have an impressive record leading Agile teams with excellent facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills. Your interpersonal skills enable you to get the best out of your team(s), work collaboratively at any level across the university, and proactively manage any situation to deliver positive outcomes. As an organised and naturally curious individual, who sets yourself exacting standards, and takes pride in your work, you’re focused on quality, delivering value, and continuously striving to improve. Additionally, with your financial management experience, you’re accurate and robust with the ability to provide clear and succinct reporting as well ensuring housekeeping is always in order.

About the Information Services Division (ISD)

ISD is the primary provider of IT services to UCL. We support and enhance learning, teaching, research and administrative processes by providing information‑and technology‑related services to over 50,000 staff and students of UCL and associated institutions.
