Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Hive EPR team powered by Epic as a Senior Analyst in the Administrative Workstream. The role is within the Cadence team, responsible for patient referrals, appointments and related communications. The Senior Analyst supports the technical development of solutions and works closely with clinical and operational teams.
Main duties of the job
- Design and configure the Cadence Application and adapt it to our working practices and standards.
- Analyse processes, agree on clinical and operational standards, and develop future workflows for incorporation into Epic.
- Work with Business Intelligence & Data Assurance teams to meet operational and auditing requirements.
- Lead engagement with clinicians and staff related to the application.
- Collaborate with other EPR application teams on testing, security, user support and medical device integration.
- Complete EPR training and receive recognised qualifications.
Person specification
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Qualification in Project Management or a postgraduate/masters qualification in a relevant area or equivalent experience within a Clinical Systems Implementation role.
- Clinical qualification.
- Ongoing evidence of personal development.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of clinical, administrative and operational workflows within a hospital environment.
- Clinical/operational NHS experience and understanding of the NHS Performance Framework.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of NHS Information Standards.
- Knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act, GDPR & Information Governance.
- Knowledge of HealthCare IT systems.
- Knowledge of managing complex, strategic projects or areas of complex working practices.
Training and Experience
- Evidenced experience of communicating complex issues to a range of people.
- Epicor or other clinical system accreditation or equivalent experience.
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, documentation and methodology development.
Other requirements
- Ability to travel to all MFT sites, other reference sites and off‑site training venues, possibly overseas.
- Provide support to end‑users through regular meetings and participation in a 24/7 and/or on‑call rota during Go‑live or system upgrades as necessary.
