A well-established independent veterinary practice in Horley is seeking a Full-Time Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.

Responsibilities
The role is full-time (40 hours per week) across 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays worked (8am-4pm) and a weekday given in lieu. You will enjoy a mix of consultation and surgery days, working alongside experienced vets, nurses, and support staff. There is no OOH or on-call responsibility.
You will have access to advanced equipment including laser therapy, ultrasound (cardiac and linear probes), dental X-ray, wireless X-ray plate, and video otoscope.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be RCVS-registered, with at least 3 years’ small-animal experience, confident in routine surgery and consultations, and passionate about animal welfare and client care. Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach are essential, while Vet GDP advisor experience is a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: competitive starting from £45,000 DOE. CPD allowance: £1,500 plus 4 days’ CPD. Paid professional memberships: RCVS, VDS, and one additional. Holidays: generous holiday including bank holidays. Bonus: discretionary annual bonus. Flexible leave options to support work-life balance.
