Design Manager | Residential Architecture & Path to Director

Salary: GBP 50,000 – 75,000 per annum + vehicle allowance, training and progression to director.

Design Manager – Sturminster Newton, site travel across Dorset – hybrid working.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician, Architect or Design Manager to join a well‑established, family‑run construction company that specialises in high‑quality residential projects in Dorset. The role offers full technical design responsibilities with a clear pathway to a director level position.

The Role

• Directly work with clients and the in‑house team.
• Produce technical drawings, internal elevations and building‑control drawings.
• Support on‑site to ensure projects meet client expectations and assist with value engineering.
• Hybrid working – office based in Sturminster Newton.

The Person

• Architect, Architectural Technician/Technologist or Design Manager.
• Team player with strong building‑regulation and AutoCAD experience.
• Can commute to Sturminster Newton office.
• Personable with excellent communication skills.
