Mobile Electrical Engineer – FM Service Provider – Retail – South Coast of England – up to £43,000 + Package
Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer based on a retail contract along the South Coast (Worthing, Brighton, Burgess Hill, Portsmouth, Eastbourne & Bognor Regis) will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across roughly 12 sites.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance.

Hours of work
- Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00
- Callout 1 in 6 – £135 per week
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, fault‑finding, lamping, etc.)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control panels
- Changing ballast
- BMS system – monitor (i.e. hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update log books
- Plumbing – unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required
- Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
- Be fully aware of relevant health and safety and general legislative matters

Requirements
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
- City & Guilds – 18th Edition
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi‑skilled
- Good communication skills
