We’re looking for a Service Engineer based in Birmingham. The Service Engineer role holds the responsibility for the technical support of our customers and resolution of ongoing issues when required. You will deliver a quality and reliable service to our customers and colleagues, ensuring that reliability issues are dealt with in a timely manner, and any issues with van stock or training needs will be reported back to the Regional Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure agreed Franke UK Technical Standards and Processes are adhered to
- Provide on-call weekend rota for Engineer Technical Assistance and reactive calls (one every four weekends)
- Highlight technical skills gaps
- Highlight customer skills gaps
- Manage stock levels
- Manage customer relations at a site level
- Keep up to date with all company admin and courses
- Highlight issues where Account Support is required due to ongoing customer issues
- Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities that arise on a day-to-day basis or over time within the remit of the role
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and experience in the remit of the Field Engineers role
- Minimum 2 years experience working in the coffee machine or vending industry
- Competent using phones and laptop
- Excellent communications skills
- Personal integrity
- Analysing and prioritising tasks
- Understand when to inform and when to elevate issues
