Service & Maintenance Engineer Role & Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service calls and remedial works on a range of fire and security systems
  • Servicing and maintaining CCTV, access control, fire alarm and integrated electronic security systems
  • Completing small works, repairs and system upgrades across residential and commercial properties
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with British Standards, health & safety regulations and industry best practice
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues while also being capable of working independently in the field

Service & Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience working within the Fire & Security industry (5 years minimum)
  • Strong working knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV and access control systems
  • Previous experience carrying out preventative maintenance and fault-finding on electronic security systems
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, City & Guilds or equivalent would be advantageous
  • Experience with Entrotec systems would be highly beneficial
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Must be able to pass DBS / security screening checks
