Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Haywards Heath, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering robust electrical systems for diverse projects, with a focus on power distribution, power systems, and electrical design. Day-to-day duties include technical analysis, project management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions. You will also oversee junior engineers, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to client discussions to align with their vision and requirements.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Electrical Design, Power Distribution, and Power Systems
- Strong knowledge of Electricity and comprehensive understanding of Electrical Engineering principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead engineering teams
- Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to electrical engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional accreditation is advantageous
- Experience in mission-critical or high-performance environments is desirable
- Commitment to sustainability and awareness of best practices in energy-efficient design
