Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support projects for our Asset Management business platform. You will lead all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications, regulatory standards, and a focus on low‑carbon solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss specific intervention requirements.
• Carry out intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to identify innovative solutions for complex problems.
• Plan and implement projects in association with Delivery Management teams.
• Lead the development of Electrical and ICA design deliverables.
• Coach junior engineers via 1‑to‑1 sessions to develop future engineering leaders.
• Provide technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team and Senior Management.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent HND/HNC) in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status achieved or in progress.
• Detailed specialist knowledge of British and European design standards including Wimes.
• Proven track record as a Senior Electrical Engineer in both a design office and construction environment within the water or related process industry.
• Passion for success and for developing own and team careers.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
